In Search of America: A July 4th Musical Celebration
July 3rd and 4th, 2002 a musical celebration will be held in Livingston Montana. ABC Television will be producing a national musical celebration from Mayors' Landing.
The 2002 Olympic Torch Run
On January 28th the 2002 Olymipc torch made its way through Livingston, Montana on its way to the 2002 Winter Olympics being held in Salt Lake City.

The production company of The Horse Whisperer first came to Livingston in 1996. Because of delays, the shooting didn't start until 1997...............The movie finally came out on May 15, 1998 to great local and national acclaim and ran at the Empire Theatre for 5 weeks.
