Founded in 1987, Yellowstone Ballet School has grown from three to nearly one-hundred students. Classes are offered at our spacious studio in Livingston, and since Spring 2000 at facilities in Mammoth. Can students in a small school have a good time and receive professional training? Yes! Students trained at YBS have been singled out and awarded scholarships to the National Ballet of Canada, Interlocken School of Arts, Ballet Iowa, Hartford Ballet, and Whitman College. However, those seeking a dance career require extra classes and private coaching. Advancement direclty relates to the number of classes taken, and the students body type, focus and disposition.
