Classes are conducted via the internet with interactive voice and chat software. Video is soon to be added so that students will have the exact benefits of on campus learning. Education is accomplished through this medium, plus, video taped lectures, assignments, and proctored examinations. There is a full staff at the University which is dedicated soley to the needs of the Telecom and Distance Learning Students.
There are presently over 30 Telecom sites thoughout Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming and Canada. Students may also bridge onto classes via the telephone while traveling. This is an ideal way to complete a college degree for working people and students above traditional age who have to work school around life. It is also good for younger students with special needs which prevent them from feeling comfortable in traditional learning situations. Anyone who doesn't want the hassle of the campus will love Telecom learning.
